Unified Growth Foundation was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: sustainable and inclusive growth begins with empowerment.

Established as a Section 8 Non-Profit Organization, UGF has been working relentlessly to drive social and economic transformation through child development, education, MSME support, and women empowerment initiatives, from grassroots-level interventions to national platforms.

UGF community programs

The journey so far

  1. 1973

    Foundational philosophy built on child-centric education through Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangh, the roots of what later became Balmurti Online.

  2. 1981

    Launch of Balmurti Magazine, a print edition guiding parents, teachers and communities on holistic child development.

  3. 1995

    Establishment of the Gijubhai Badheka Community Library in eight locations across Vadodara, ensuring free access to child development literature.

  4. 1999

    Launch of VCCI Expo by founder Mr. Nilesh Shukla, attracting over 800 MSMEs and establishing Vadodara as a hub for industry networking.

  5. 2000

    Introduction of formal teacher training initiatives, significantly enhancing early childhood education for educators and parents.

  6. 2008

    Launch of Vendor Development Initiatives for MSMEs, facilitating business growth, industrial linkages and expansion opportunities for small enterprises.

  7. 2015

    Evolution of Unified Growth Foundation and its education initiatives, setting the stage for large-scale academic and professional skill enhancement programs.

  8. 2016

    Signed MOUs with 50+ higher education institutions, establishing long-term academic collaborations.

  9. 2016-20

    Delivered international internships, immersion programs, industry-academia connect and international affairs departments for institutions.

  10. 2018

    Focus expanded to MSME development: knowledge-sharing programs, market access facilitation, and training and mentoring for business sustainability.

  11. 2020

    Launch of Balmurti Online, transforming the 40-year-old legacy magazine into a digital-first educational platform reaching children worldwide.

  12. 2020-22

    Took all initiatives online: MSME and startup expos, digital seminars, conferences and training sessions on virtual platforms.

  13. 2023

    Launch of the Women In Nation Building (WIN) initiative, a dedicated platform for women's leadership, entrepreneurial mentorship and skill development.

  14. 2024

    Strengthening CSR and industry partnerships to scale impact, engaging corporates, policymakers and institutions for deeper collaborations.

  15. 2025

    WIN state series travels across Gujarat: Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara and Ahmedabad, engaging 1,000+ women.
